Our Mission:
Intentional Mentoring coaches youth in a positive direction for their mind, body and soul by connecting the gaps between school, home, community, and other activities.

Mentors:
Students in our program are paired with a mentor, 18 years or older.  This mentor works with a coach to help resource and connect them in schools, to the community, and home.  Mentors in this program can work with the student both in and out of school, and through the summers.  The relationship may continue for as long as both parties invest.

Students:
Once students in the program are paired with a mentor, they can work with the mentor on school work and go do fun activities.  The relationship moves toward what the student needs, and pushes them to reach their greatest potential both socially and academically.

Programming:
All students and mentors within this program meet in person once a week.  The time is decided upon within each pairing; sometimes in and sometimes outside of school.  Every other month, Intentional Mentoring hosts a mentor-mentee hangout and volunteer opportunity connect all mentorships together.  The mentorships continue to meet over the summer.

Students wanting to be in the program need to fill out an application to register. Adults wanting to mentor need to fill out an application.
Many mentors are able to provide transportation to and from activities.
We have bilingual, volunteer staff (including a mentor coach) to help with these services.
